Action

   The Magistral See, besides her work leading the Order, has always been engaged in the assistance of those in need. Since the very first years anyone knocking our door has been welcomed, fed and has received the chance to spend the night in a warm bed. In order to improve our hospitality, we started some works tended to restore and enlarge a part of the Castello della Magione.

    These works will enable us to increase the number of bedrooms, even if this will not yet be enough to satisfy the requires that we had until today.

    Furthermore the Magistral Almoner is charged with the collection of the offerings coming from inside and outside the Order for the help of the numerous poor people asking for it.

    These are often fathers or mothers of family that can’t pay the house rent or buy the food.

    The structure of the Castle, dated back to the eleventh century, needs constant maintenance/upkeep because of the humidity of the place and the infiltrations/seepages of water.

We are planning to build a bigger pilgrim quarter, where we could host even fifty persons, and where organize the first house of common life of the Militia.

But we need Your help to realise all this.
