HABIT

The Militia of the Temple, the following wears clothes according to the categories of members:

EFFECTIVE MEMBERS:

The habit of the Professed Knights is white and consist of the tunic, the scapular with the red octagonal cross on the chest and a mantle with a cowl and the same cross on the left shoulder.

The Knights in Obedience wear a white tunic with the octagonal red cross on the chest and a mantle without a cowl with the same red octagonal cross on the left shoulder.

JOINED TO THE EFFECTIVE MEMBERS:

The Ladies wear a white veil with the cross without the upper arm. For the Ladies the latest General Chapter has approved a white mantle with the red cross without the upper arm on the left shoulder; this important new feature will be adopted soon for all ladies of the Militia.

ASSOCIATED MEMBERS:

For the Oblates ("Knights and Ladies of Devotion") the latest General Chapter has approved a grey mantle with the red octagonal cross on the left shoulder (the cross of the women oblates is without the upper arm); this important new feature will be adopted soon for all oblates of the Militia.

  The Novices wear just a white tunic.

  The Squires wear just a white tunic.

Members "IN SACRIS":

The Chaplains are dressed with a white "Mozzetta" with red edge, red buttons and an octagonal red cross on the left front part.

ENSIGN

The Militia of the Temple adopt this flag: Red Octagonal Cross on white background.

The Grand Master has its own flag: this is a Beaussant, white and black, with upper a red octagonal cross. He has a its personal coat of arms also.
